i planned to breed 3 greenie mule pairs at start of the season.2 excellent buff hen greenys paired to a yellow norwich a a cinamon norwich,i also had a pied greeny hen to a yellow norwich,had to do a major reshuffle as the pied turned out to be a cock,so that was 1 pair scrapped.then i lost 1 of the buff hens,so i decided to run the pied cock to the remaining buff greeny hen to try breed pieds,an unlucky turn of events.......i also have a smallish pied hen that i will also run the pied cock to,she is now built up,a due to lay any day

pied hen is layin a will take cock pied away tomorow after her 4th egg is laid,norwich are actin funny,within a week 3 yellow hens laid their eggs but wudnt sit,so thank god for feeder hens,i have a nest of min.siskin mules 3 days old,4 chicks r gettin well fed by fife hen
